Battery Error on Stromer ST2
Problem
Battery fuel gauge on the Stromer ST2 shows "N/A" where it should show battery level as a percentage (i.e. 90%). Alternatively, the screen says "Battery Error, Return to service point" in a popup dialog box along with "Drive Error, return to service point". Bike does not give any pedal assistance. Problem can occur after charging the battery on the bike.
Solution
This is a bug that can occasionally come up, especially when charging the battery on the bike (as opposed to taking the battery out of the bike and charging it off the bike). The problem can also occur if there is a bad connection between the battery and the bike.

When charging your battery on your bike, turn the bike off before plugging it in to the charger, wait 3 seconds, and then plug the charger into the back.
To resolve the issues, try the following:
Remove and reinstall the battery
1) Unlock the battery door
2) Remove the battery from the bike, wait 3 seconds, and reinstall
3) Close the battery door
4) Power on the bike. The problem should be resolved

If the problem persists, try the following:
Check battery to bike connection
1) Unlock the battery door
2) Remove the battery from the bike
3) Inspect the connector on the battery to ensure there is no debris. Remove any debris found.
4) Inspect the connector in the bike to ensure there is no debris. Remove any debris found.
5) Wiggle the connector in the bike to make sure it moves freely.
6) Reinstall the battery.
7) Close the battery door.
8) Power on the bike. The problem should be resolved.
