Requesting Roadside Pick-Up Service
If you have a flat tire, broken chain, or some other problem with your electric bicycle that leaves you stranded, you and your bike can be picked up and driven up to 30 miles two times per year as part of your Service Plan from The New Wheel.
Step-by-step guide
- Call our main phone number at 415-524-7362 and follow the prompts to be connected to our Emergency Roadside pickup provider, Better World Club
- You will be asked for your member number or last name to schedule service. You must be with your bicycle when the roadside pick-up service provider arrives. Your member number is included in your new member packet that was mailed to you by Better World Club.
- A tow truck or Lugg will be dispatched.
If you call the dispatcher and they cannot dispatch service through their network, the representative will give you an authorization number. You may then call any service provider and pay them directly for services rendered. You’ll be reimbursed up to your benefit limit when you submit your written reimbursement request within 90 days of service.
